We (the global population) use 1.6 times the natural resources that our planet can renew. That’s right, we’re depleting our natural capital… thereby shrinking the ability of nature to regenerate what we need to feed ourselves, clothe our bodies and put a roof over our head.
In reality, many of us consume way more resources than we need for food, clothing and shelter—in large part because of the type of economy we live in. How can we live simpler, more fulfilling lives?
