With many of us resigned to spending this summer within the confine of the urban setting where we live, including yours truly at Global Footprint Network, we are launching the new #MoveTheDate Solutions contest in the Cities category during this month of July. Our goal is to celebrate Cities solutions that have been implemented, have shown results, and are replicable around the world.
You can participate in the contest by adding a new cities-focused solution to the map AND/OR “liking” and commenting on cities-focused solutions that are already on the map. The solutions need to abide by our Community policy and guidelines, especially:
- Show a precise location
- Provide a detailed description
- Include a picture
- A URL to a webpage containing more information about the project and/or a videos is a plus!
The deadline is July 26.
We will review cities-focused solutions with the highest number of “likes” and comments to identify one (or more) winner(s). The winning solution(s) will be promoted on the map, our social media channels, as well as in our newsletter to 200k subscribers.
